We Put the Vans Curren Caples to the Test — Here’s How They Held Up [Skate Shoe Review]

Last June 6, the latest pro model skate shoes from Vans just dropped in the Philippines, the Curren Caples; and we were lucky enough to have the first look and grab. So what are we gonna do next? — Make a Skate Shoe Review! We made sure to give some proper impression and fun on this without any hold back, so we asked Joseph Balan, an up-and-coming skater from Manila who has some unique flowy styles of riding the board and arsenal of tricks, to give us his take on the skate shoe.

In this skate shoe review, we take the Vans Curren Caples signature model out for a proper test session in Mendiola (flat grounds) as well as some riding sessions in various spots and skateparks in Metro Manila, for us to see how it holds up under real skating conditions.
