Mikey Acurin // “TRIP!” (2025)

The title will definitely give you an idea, how fun the skate film will be… or as we Filipinos coined it: “Trip trip lang!”.

It all started after Mikey Acurin (@vx.filmer) got his VX camera in 2019 and decided to film with his homie Louie Enconado, along with other friends, but then, when the pandemic happened, they decided to put it on pause.

Later, when things got better, they continued to gather clips through the years, adding new skaters like Myke, Jaymar, Tolits, Andrei, Zeth, Calvin, Chuck, Wawo, Ryan, Wayen, Sachie, Boyya, and Ken. The rawness of skateboarding: no brands, no bigger goals, plain pure fun in every filming session, gathering old and new circles, and just having memories with your homies.
