Lambanog Skate Crew // “AGAWAN SA PAMANA (Inheritance Dispute) Documentary” (2025)

In a skater’s daily dose of life choices, at the back of our heads, we always start by asking: “Where will we skate? Can we skate there? Are we allowed to skate there?” — ‘cos the reality in the Philippines, most of us don’t have proper spaces to skate.

In this documentary, the Lambanog Skate Crew gave us a glimpse of reality, showing us their struggle, not towards any power or ownership, but towards finding their own safe space to thrive. From vacant parks, abandoned buildings, and any area with remnants of a good floor, to creating their own DIY spot from a vacant lot, San Pablo skaters will always find a way to repurpose something and turn it into their little shared haven.

This documentary not only serves as Lambanog Skate Crew’s call, but also a reflection of our struggles and wishes; a collective thought on every Filipino skater’s daydreams: A proper skatepark, or even just a safe place to skate.
