Badwave: From ValKal City to Southeast Asia!

Badwave thrives in chaos. They don’t need a stage; they’ll play wherever there’s an outlet and a crowd hungry for noise. That same energy has carried them from skate rats with instruments to one of the most vital names in today’s Philippine hardcore.

Badwave’s DNA: Skate Roots and Hardcore
Formed in 2019, Badwave’s attitude is burned into their sound, bleeding with skateboarding chaos, DIY hardcore, and the PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) spirit of its members. Drawing from skate culture’s discipline, grit, and sense of community, they’ve turned their sets into cathartic exchange zones where mosh-pit etiquette collides with aggressive joy.
Now, they’re ready to take all of that to foreign stages.

Why This Tour Hits Deep for Local Skaters and Hardcore Kids
The skater-punk world has always thrived in the underground, and Badwave embodies that grind. Skating sketchy spots between gigs, booking shows in basements, and making music out of pure resistance. This tour is an exclamation point on their hustle and on the Pinoy punk scene’s ability to hit harder and go further.
“Hindi lang tugtugan ‘to.” they add. “It’s about meeting new friends and bringing Pinoy hardcore energy to their stage, for the whole community.”

Manila, Show Them How It’s Done
But before Singapore, Medan, and KL get a taste, Manila gets first blood.
“Gathering ng homies, skaters, hardcore kids, samahan niyo kami bago kami lumipad...Siguradong masaya ‘to, para sa atin lahat.” Badwave promises.
After all the chaos, sweat, and grind that got them here, Badwave knows this tour isn’t just about them; it’s about the whole community that built the scene from cracked skate spots and DIY basements. Before heading out, they made sure to send love back where it belongs:
“Salamat sa mga kasama namin tumugtog at sa lahat ng tumulong para matupad itong SEA Tour. Shout out sa Brigad3 Records, VANS Philippines, REVERE, Hideaway, Unite Hardcore, Badwave crew, Mainland Crew, Still Ill Records. Sa mga di nabanggit, alam niyo na yun. Love you all! Salamat Skateboarding!”
The Manila show is the send-off. Skate crew, mosh crew, tag-along friends—this is your home turf moment to raise hell and raise them up.
