Ledermann & Du Bronks // “UNITED 3” (2026)
The United Series was always about connection and roots; it started with Daniel Ledermann and Matheus Du Bronks linking up in Europe, which led to the first United video. In 2024, they followed it by creating another chapter that features Matheus’ hometown in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and now, coming up with a fresh chapter, the duo dropped down to Ledermann’s hometown, Cebu!! — birthing to a film setting a high tone for the Philippine skateboarding scene this 2026, the United 3!
"...to see Matheus around Moalboal [Cebu], where I grew up, was such a dope experience... to see him walking around the same place where I come and visit since I'm a kid...it was fun...a nice feeling that skateboarding brought us all in this together." When we asked Daniel about what he felt during the process of filming this video.
The filming took place in various parts of the Philippines, such as Batangas, Laguna, Manila, Quezon City, and mainly in Cebu. Watching the film creates a sense of familiarity for every Filipino’s eyes, ragged spots, rough roads, and the warm rays of the Sun being clearly seen, mixed with the selection of songs with noticeable gong-chimes sounds we are familiar with. — a video that feels like home, and made by the homies.
"To connect with the [Filipino] people...it's so important because everybody has the same roots when they started skating...it's about fun, it's about smiling; it can be a goal to land a trick, but to just be around the crew, all the skaters (your friends), that's the main thing." Explaining why they chose to make videos that connect them back to their roots.
Besides Daniel Ledermann and Matheus Du Bronks, the video also showcases the country’s top and up-and-coming skaters such as Khyll “Smokey” Siarot, John Michael Abarca, KC Boyya Go, Trunks Manalo, Boy Maranga, Daryl Dominguez, Joseph Balan, Dee-ar Santos, Kevin Almazan, Mark “Netoy” Operia, and Oyo Bruce Tan. With additional filming from Tom Hoffman, Kenneth Asprer, Caryl Tello, John Michael Abarca, Cliff Rigor, and Dani Bautista. Edited by Bruno Rocha.
