Kumander Kobra // “EXTRA GRAVY” (2018)

While everyone is making sure to hit bangers and showcase their styles, this skate film entitled “Extra Gravy” begs to differ. Everything about this 38-minute film shows another reason why skateboarding is all about creativity, having fun, and not limiting yourself or what you should do with your piece of wood—filmed by Kumander Kobra and his homies, featuring Jay Villarosa, Maco Custodio, Marlou Laquindanum, Ramel Bulana, Jerwin “Spanky” Santos, along with crews and friends.

Filmed in various spots and locations throughout the Philippines, it showcases what every rider can do and create; you can also sense their personality by simply watching how they skate. Even while watching it, you’ll be amazed by the arsenal of tricks being done–bringing a sense of childlike play, freedom in expressing, and making the world their playground.
